Content Agency (Hospitals and Health Systems)

I currently edit and proofread print newsletters and magazines, including projects produced

in languages other than English (such as Hmong, Russian, Tagalog, and Spanish).

Nonprofit Organization (Medical Research)

I copyedited and proofread medical research summaries and annual reports for funders and stakeholders.

Brain & Life Magazine

I copyedited patient education and feature articles for this publication of the American Academy of Neurology.

I copyedited infographics and essays on hematology topics.

EBSCO Health Library
 

I wrote more than 100 plain-language patient education articles on conditions and procedures related to dermatology, neurology, pregnancy, and congenital disorders.

Content Agency (For Medical Societies)

For nearly 10 years, I served as the primary content writer for two of this agency’s medical society clients. I wrote news and research summaries, blog posts, newsletters, and social media content. Topics included sexual health, transgender health, cancer, urology, psychiatry, and fertility preservation. Content was targeted to both clinicians and patients.

For several years, I wrote patient education articles on medical conditions, covering causes, risk factors, diagnosis, and treatment. Specialties included dermatology, cardiology, and pediatrics.
